an au vampire knight roleplaying forum !!

the story began many years ago when there was this one land being infested by chaos and horror. from the gaping darkness, a vicious torrent of humanoid shadows hurled, leaving a wake of blood and corpse all over the ground. creatures in human forms dwelt within the night, attacking defenseless people by sucking the life out of them. as a result, chaos and paranoia swept over the land, forcing the rest of its inhabitants to quarantine the island onto itself.

two years later, from this chaotic nightmare, a group of skilled hunters known only as the "knights of dusk and dawn" descended their boats and stepped on the cursed land, shrouded in myth and mystery, brimming with untold horror. the group were comprised of humans, mainly priests, all whom were experts with forms of exorcisms, each one unique in their own way. only the blessed and brave were recruited for this kind of operation.

yet beneath their presence that permeated hope, an unsettling truth began to surface. some of them were no ordinary human. their abilities, rising menacingly above all others, were inhuman and beast like, as if echoing an ominous, inescapable fate. it got more intriguing as the most common questions aroused.

"are these people even human?"

"are they vampires like those they hunt?"

soon, rumors began to spread about the truth of where they originated. students, they said, were being trained in cryptic, deadly forms of combat beyond the understanding of even the military’s most accomplished intelligence agencies; they were studying forbidden scrolls and texts believed to hold incomprehensible, supernatural power—power to create as well as destroy; and being taught the use of weapons exiled long ago for their genocidal role in the ancient wars. an academia that welcomed and embraced both humans and vampires.

vanir's ( S P E C I A L ) event !!

Special Events/Celebrations will come to the form of a Masquerade Ball. [There should be a forum for that] So, during this event everyone will be allowed to interact with each other - Night and Day Class. RP-wise, this event will only begin and last during the evening hours 6:00 p.m – 12:00 a.m inside the campus and would usually be held at the Ground Hall of the main building.

You might wonder what might occur when both groups (Hunters and full-vampires) come together in this special event. Well, we can’t avoid the possibilities that commotions such as fights (for those student vamp. hunters who know about the secret of the night class) and romance may arise. But that’s exactly the point of this event. This Masquerade is held to give chance for bringing life and action to the role-play flow of the Academy.

So here’s the important part you have to know about this event and which is why it is special. The Masquerade forum will only be available for rp in just a week (7 days). In between those time-periods, assigned mods and admins will be reading the posts of the members/characters participating, and NOT JUST READ but read it thoroughly. And on the last day of this event, a huge voting will be done to determine the following:
  • Best appearance/outfit – determined by a good descriptive role-play where a member describes his/her character’s appearance and outfit in full and magnificent detail.
  • Best romance topic – determined by the most romantic role-play.
  • Best action topic – determined by a good and well-worded fight scene of a role-play.
Winners will be rewarded with Three [3] Level jumps. This reward is for all those who participated on that winning topic.

This event has a rule though:
  • Interaction is a must. Role-plays will either be by groups or 1 v 1.
  • A group role-play should only contain a maximum of three participants.
  • You can only create one role-play topic and you can only participate on one role-play topic. Meaning, its either you make your own topic or join to another one’s. So it’d be best if you talk with someone first to plan/arrange the role-play your going to do before starting a topic. Talk to your in-game best friends, boyfriends/girlfriends or mortal enemies if you want bah I don’t care.
What will happen if we find your character participating on two or more topics? Disqualification.
